Vivo City
 My love for durians was returned, in this form =) My family and I ate Not so nice also. It tasted like pig stomach soup. It was also the first time I went to Vivo City. Went there early and skipped BM tuition as well to pick up my maid of 15 years from Changi Airport who went on holiday for 2 weeks. It wasn't a holiday for her really. Two of her houses were blown away by a typhoon. =/ Naturally, for visiting Vivo City for the first time, I was really fascinated by the floor. It was sparkly.  The floor and my shoes. I know. Very jakun. Even my dad said so. Nothing much there really. Everything is expensive there. There was a restaurant called Bosses that sold durian puffs or whatever they call it. My dad said it was on tv last week on Channel 8. ._. Well, here they are:  Fried durian dish It really sucked. I strongly believe durians should not be eaten under high temperature. It had a sour taste(I think the durians are rotten already)  Cold durian dish Now this is good. REALLY REALLY good. omfg? What's the outer layer made of? Dad: Japanese kind of 'mochi'(don't know how to spell it) Mom: 'Muachi' has sesame seeds on it. It's marzipan Me:... some kind of marshmallow cuz it's kinda sticky and melts in your mouth. I don't know really. But for those 6 pieces altogether it was $16.50. With that money in JB, you could already buy 3 sets at Macdonald's. -Sarah.W- Labels: Vivo City |
